Altos Las Hormigas Malbec Clásico Orgánico 2022 is a modern, juicy, and straightforward version of Mendoza Malbec, made entirely from certified organic grapes sourced from Luján de Cuyo and Paraje Altamira. With no oak aging, this wine clearly expresses the fruit, soil, and character of each vintage, following a philosophy of minimal intervention in both vineyard and winery.
"Ruby red in color with reddish highlights, it opens with intense aromas of plum, damp forest, gunpowder, black pepper, eucalyptus, and pink peppercorn. The palate is fresh, with fine acidity and well-integrated tannins. Its medium body and fruit-forward profile make it ideal for everyday drinking and a versatile companion to many dishes."
