Description:

Luigi Bosca De Sangre Malbec DOC is a bright violet-colored wine with an aromatic expression marked by clear red fruit notes reminiscent of ripe cherries. Its complexity is enhanced by delicate spicy hints and subtle roasted tones from its aging, evoking notes of coffee. On the palate, it has a round entry, with a strong presence of red fruit and spices. Firm tannins and balanced acidity provide a vibrant structure full of character. A Malbec with a long and compact finish, full of energy and a distinctive personality.

Winemaking Process:

The grapes are hand-harvested in 18 to 20 kg boxes. A careful selection of clusters is carried out, followed by destemming and grain selection. The must undergoes cold maceration for 5 to 7 days at temperatures between 8 and 10°C. Fermentation takes place in small stainless steel tanks with extraction techniques such as punch-downs and délestages. After maceration, the wine is transferred to oak barrels where it undergoes malolactic fermentation and ages for 12 months. Before release, it is bottled with a gentle filtration process and aged in the winery for at least six months.
