Description

Score: 94 pts ADEGA

Las Villanas Andrea El Cepillo 2022 is part of Las Villanas, the highest-tier and most exclusive line from Tutu Wines, conceived as the project’s Grand Cru wines. Sourced from IG El Cepillo (Block 5 South) in the Uco Valley at 1,050 meters of elevation, this wine delivers a deep, delicate, and remarkably precise interpretation of high-altitude Malbec.

Andrea is the kindest of the Villanas—one defined by goodness and sacrifice. This wine, and the entire “Los Amigos del Bien” project, would not exist without her. Her strength, perseverance, audacity, and work ethic made everything she set out to do come true. As a tribute, this Malbec seeks to mirror that singular personality: spirited, hard to tame, sensitive, and profound.

The vineyard is rooted in sandy loam soils, with fractured caliche at 60 cm and an underlying sandy matrix with lime—an interplay of carbonates and caliche that brings tension, finesse, and a distinct mineral identity.

"A Malbec of remarkable delicacy and firmness, with an ultra-fine structure and an ethereal character. Floral, subtle, and precise, it moves in a higher dimension—quiet energy and depth that unfold over time."

A wine of refined texture, restrained emotion, and absolute elegance—honoring Andrea while defining the highest expression of Las Villanas.
