Description

Score: 93 pts Descorchados – 95 pts Vinomanos

Las Villanas Lilith Altamira Malbec 2022 is part of Las Villanas, the highest-tier line within Tutu Wines, conceived as its Grand Cru wines. Crafted in IG Paraje Altamira (Block 7 East) at 1,100 meters of elevation, this wine is born from a terroir of striking mineral identity, where soil precision and a minimal-intervention philosophy define its character.

The soils feature a 30 cm surface layer of silt, with 90% alluvial stones coated with carbonate, set within a fine sandy matrix with lime extending down to 2 meters, delivering tension, freshness, and an ultra-fine grain structure.

Lilith, according to biblical writings, was the first woman on Earth. She was not born from a rib, but from the same dust as Adam. She demanded equality and, when it was denied, chose exile over a life without freedom. Her figure—historically demonized for her rebellion—inspires this Malbec: a wine of strength, character, conviction, and sensitivity, combining structure and delicacy with profound identity.

Fresh and long on the palate, with a subtle yet present structure, ultra-fine-grained tannins, and marked persistence. An ethereal, precise Malbec that expresses the purest essence of Altamira.
