Description

Score: 94 pts James Suckling

Old Vines from Patagonia Malbec 2022 is a Patagonian Malbec of great purity and character, made from vines planted in 1967 on their own roots in the area of Guerrico, on the banks of the Río Negro. Farmed under agroecological practices, with no herbicides or systemic products, this wine faithfully reflects the cold, desert-like identity of southern Argentina: natural freshness, intense aromatics, and a balanced texture that combines elegance and depth.

"On the nose it offers an expressive profile of wild red fruits, licorice and delicate floral notes. The palate is rounded, balanced and well structured, with fine tannins and a long finish that highlights its Patagonian origin. An authentic, honest and vibrant Malbec, born from old vines and extremely careful work in the cellar."
