Description
Anaia Grand Assemblage is an elegant, sophisticated red wine with a commanding presence, crafted by Anaia Wines at their estate in Agrelo, Luján de Cuyo. This blend harmoniously combines the distinct characteristics of Malbec with the structural backbone of Cabernet Sauvignon, using a meticulous process of micro-fermentations in first-use French oak barrels and 500 and 600-liter roll fermenters. Aged for 18 months in new oak barrels and fermented with indigenous yeasts, it perfectly balances a remarkable structural power with an exceptional delicacy across every layer.
"Red in color with brick-like hues, the nose unfolds a complex profile featuring red fruit aromas accompanied by hints of mature dark fruit and subtle bell pepper. Its time in oak introduces well-integrated descriptors of chocolate and cassis. On the palate, it stands out for its great structure and delicacy, offering a long, silky, and highly persistent finish."
