Calisto Reserva Cabernet Franc 2022 is an elegant, structured, and complex expression of Uco Valley Cabernet Franc, sourced from high-altitude vineyards at 1,200 meters above sea level in Los Chacayes, Tunuyán. Aged for 9 months in second-use French oak barrels, this wine beautifully combines intense varietal character with well-integrated notes of oak and the distinct influence of its stony alluvial soils, guided by a philosophy of balance and precision.
"Ruby-red in color with violet hues, the nose highlights aromas of black pepper, cloves, roasted red bell peppers, raspberries, and black cherries, while notes of leather, tobacco, and eucalyptus add complexity. On the palate, it is elegant, unctuous, and balanced, showing a long finish and a refreshing acidity. Its round tannins and vibrant freshness make it ideal to accompany grilled meats, roasted vegetables, tomato-based pasta dishes, risottos, and game meats."
