Description

Carmelo Patti Cabernet Franc 2020 is an elegant and classic expression of Cabernet Franc from Perdriel, Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza. The vineyards are planted on medium-deep clay loam soils with some rocky areas, in a dry climate with low rainfall and significant thermal amplitude, conditions that favor balanced ripening and varietal expression.

The wine is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, which adds complexity and structure while preserving the varietal character of Cabernet Franc. This aging enhances the aromatic profile and contributes to the wine’s aging potential.

In the glass, the wine shows a medium to high intensity garnet red color with excellent clarity and brightness. On the nose, it is complex and elegant, with a broad aromatic spectrum highlighting red fruits, menthol notes, sweet pepper, and subtle smoky notes.

On the palate, the aromatic harmony continues with sweet, smooth, and rounded tannins with good firmness, providing structure and balance. The finish is long and persistent, showing elegance and aging potential. It is recommended to decant the wine for at least 1.5 to 2 hours before serving to fully express its aromatic complexity and structure.
