Description

Colonia Las Liebres Bonarda 2024 is a juicy, tense, and lively representation of Argentine Bonarda, crafted with grapes sourced from 75% proprietary organic vineyards in Luján de Cuyo and 25% from the Jardín de Hormigas estate in Paraje Altamira. Vinified in stainless steel tanks with a partial inclusion of whole clusters, this wine was aged exclusively in concrete vats for 10 months to prevent any wood contact, followed by 3 months of bottle refinement. This dedicated process preserves the uncompromised freshness of the fruit and showcases the authentic, unmasked character of the variety.

"Bright red in color with very lively violet reflections, the nose opens with a slightly reductive character highlighting a distinctive tapenade aroma. As it breathes, it unfolds layered notes of coriander, plum, cardamom, anise, carob bark, and mint. On the palate, it enters with a highly juicy, vibrant texture supported by great structure, where herbal notes take center stage alongside the primary characters of anise and cardamom. Its long finish is filled with expressions of tapenade and black fruit."
