Description
Gran Enemigo Red Blend 2023 is the flagship red blend of El Enemigo, the project that winemaker Alejandro Vigil and Adrianna Catena founded in Mendoza in 2007. Sourced from Gualtallary, in the Uco Valley, it brings together Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec, with grapes harvested at seven different moments of the season to build complexity, freshness and balance.
Deep purple with ruby highlights, it opens with aromas of stewed fruit layered with notes of chocolate and vanilla. The palate is full-bodied, with a sweet entry, firm tannins and bright, marked acidity that carry into a long finish. Structured and expressive, it will reward a few more years in the cellar.
