Altos Las Hormigas Jardín de Hormigas Meteora Malbec 2021 is a precise, vibrant, and highly expressive interpretation of the Paraje Altamira terroir. Created with the idea of offering an accessible expression of the complexity of the Jardín de Hormigas vineyard, this wine exceeded the expectations of the winemaking team, revealing remarkable depth with minimal intervention.
"Light ruby-red in color with violet hues, the nose initially shows a slightly reductive profile, where notes of gunpowder and graphite emerge. These are joined by cherry, sour cherry, violets, chamomile, and herbs from the Mendoza foothills. On the palate, it displays an elastic and tense texture, fine tannins, and an electric character. The progression is vertical and concentrated, with a long, persistent finish marked by mineral and floral notes."
