Description

Altos Las Hormigas Jardín de Hormigas Meteora Malbec 2024 is a vibrant and textural expression of Paraje Altamira, crafted from selected parcels of the Jardín de Hormigas vineyard. This vintage combines the energy of a warm year with the tension and freshness typical of cooler seasons, resulting in a Malbec of remarkable precision and mineral depth.

Bright violet in color with magenta hues, the nose unfolds gradually, beginning with flinty and graphite notes, followed by herbal aromas of thyme, jarilla, and a subtle hint of eucalyptus. As it opens, citrus notes of orange peel and white grapefruit emerge, leading into layers of cassis, flat peach, and blueberries. On the palate, it offers a striking texture and balsamic character, with a long, persistent finish marked by chalky minerality, red and black fruits such as plum and cherry, and delicate notes of red tea.
