Description
Mosquita Muerta Malcriado Malbec is an intense, powerful, and deeply complex icon wine that challenges traditional boundaries by blending exceptional high-altitude terroirs from Mendoza and San Juan. Sourced from selected plots across three distinct estates—Finca Manfrax in Los Chacayes, Finca Mosquita Muerta in Los Árboles, and Finca Fuego Blanco in the Pedernal Valley—this multi-terroir Malbec undergoes fermentation directly inside second and third-use French oak barrels with very gentle extraction techniques. Aged for 18 to 24 months in 500-liter oak casks, it is a wine of bold character designed to fully display the incredible depth and structural diversity of the region.
"A wine of strong personality, over time it reveals an exuberant and overflowing character, highlighting great depth and intensity. On the nose, it offers a highly complex profile with concentrated dark fruit aromas beautifully layered with subtle oak complexity. On the palate, it expands with immense volume and presence, showcasing a rich and mouth-coating texture beautifully accompanied by a vibrant, refreshing acidity that gracefully extends across the entire finish."
