Altura Máxima Malbec 2019 is a high-altitude jewel crafted by Bodega Colomé from the world’s highest planted vineyard, at 3,111 meters above sea level in the Upper Calchaquí Valleys of Salta. This wine embodies the bold vision of Donald Hess and the winemaking mastery of Thibaut Delmotte, who has translated the extreme character of the terroir into a Malbec of remarkable concentration, elegance, and personality.
"It shows a deep, intense color. On the nose, it offers a complex aromatic palette of black fruits, violets, and spicy notes, with a mineral undertone. On the palate, it is structured and powerful, with firm, well-integrated tannins, marked freshness, and a long, persistent finish.
