Gran Enemigo Cabernet Franc Los Chacayes Single Vineyard 2021
Description
Score: 100 Jeb Dunnuck – 96 Robert Parker
"The Gran Enemigo Cabernet Franc Los Chacayes Single Vineyard 2021 is simply one of those wines that elicits a “wow” and almost defies description. The incredible perfume of violets and white pepper first draws you in, followed by crisp, complex layers of cassis and redcurrant. Then comes the tension and a jolt of acidity that provide length, grace, and structure. But it is the additional 20 to 30 years of aging potential that ultimately gives this wine an aura that most powerfully speaks to its greatness." — Jeb Dunnuck
"Gran Enemigo Chacayes Single Vineyard is a Cabernet Franc blended with 15% Malbec co-fermented in the vineyard. It comes from younger vineyards than those in the classic zones, planted in 2004 in the Las Viñas de Mendoza complex at 1,100 meters above sea level. It fermented with native yeasts and 50% whole clusters and was aged in old oak foudres." — Luis Gutiérrez, Wine Advocate (Robert Parker)

Gran Enemigo Gualtallary Single Vineyard 2019
Description
Score: 100 Robert Parker – 100 James Suckling
It is rare for a wine to receive a perfect score from two of the world’s most respected critics. That is exactly what happened with Gran Enemigo Gualtallary 2019, awarded 100 points by both Robert Parker and James Suckling. Don’t miss the chance to experience the magic of this extraordinary vintage.
"The incredibly subtle, elegant, and austere Gran Enemigo Gualtallary Single Vineyard 2019 reminds me of a great vintage of Lafleur, my favorite Bordeaux, as this is one of the finest vintages for this single-vineyard Cabernet Franc blend with 15% Malbec. It develops very slowly in the glass, showing layer upon layer of aromas, all in a very subtle way. It also reminds me of the fabulous 2013 that I scored 100 points in 2018, and there hasn’t been such a perfect vintage since. It has great balance and a silky mouthfeel, with refined, elegant tannins and a long, dry finish with a chalky, salty sensation, far from sweetness—more about herbs, flowers, and rocks than anything else. They produced 9,000 bottles of this beauty. It was bottled in July 2020." — Luis Gutiérrez, Wine Advocate (Robert Parker)

Catena Zapata Adrianna Vineyard River Malbec 2021
Description
Score: 100 pts Robert Parker – Wine Advocate
Adrianna Vineyard River Malbec 2021 is one of the purest and most exclusive expressions from Catena Zapata, sourced from the historic “River” parcel within the Adrianna Vineyard in Gualtallary, Tupungato, at 1,366 meters above sea level. This tiny 2.6-hectare parcel, completely covered with oval white stones of alluvial origin—an ancient riverbed—gives the wine an unparalleled mineral character.
"Malbecs from stony soils tend to be extremely aromatic, rich, and luxurious, and the Adrianna River Malbec is no exception. It shows intense floral aromas, long and silky tannins, with electric freshness and a metallic mineral texture that makes it vibrant and highly complex. A wine that can be enjoyed young or evolve for decades in bottle." — Wine Advocate

Zuccardi Finca Piedra Infinita Supercal 2020
Description
Score: 100 pts Jeb Dunnuck
Finca Piedra Infinita Supercal 2020 is one of the most precise and profound expressions of Sebastián Zuccardi’s work in Paraje Altamira. Sourced from a tiny 0.93-hectare parcel located in the westernmost and rockiest sector of the Piedra Infinita vineyard, this wine is born from a unique soil where the surface is pure stone covered by an exceptionally rich layer of calcareous material.
"A Malbec of monumental purity, with millimetric precision and unique depth. Aromas of fresh black fruit, wildflowers, mountain herbs, and a marked mineral imprint. On the palate it is tense, vertical, and razor-sharp, with vibrant energy, chalky texture, and an extraordinarily long finish that speaks clearly of its exceptional origin. A world-class wine destined to become a benchmark for Argentine Malbec." — Jeb Dunnuck
