Zuccardi Finca Piedra Infinita Gravascal 2020 is a landmark single-parcel Malbec crafted by Familia Zuccardi, sourced from a unique 0.73-hectare parcel within the Finca Piedra Infinita estate in Paraje Altamira, Uco Valley. Situated at 1,100 meters above sea level in alluvial soils exceptionally rich in gravels coated with calcium carbonate, this wine expresses extreme terroir precision, tension, and chalky minerality. The 2020 vintage was characterized by limited yields and rapid maturity, producing grapes of pristine health, remarkable aromatic complexity, and vibrant concentration.
"Superb depth here. Oyster shells, thyme, wild herbs, ink, graphite, and lots of black cherries. A powerhouse of tannins on the full-bodied palate; vertical, colossal. Austere and puristic but super confident and chalky, balanced by great juiciness, texture, and structure in the mouth."
